What to expect

You’ve got your tickets… Now what?

We are so excited to have you at Northwest Tequila Fest 2014! For the past two summers, we have been bringing the largest Tequila and Mezcal tasting to the Pacific Northwest. If this is your first time with us, welcome! Here is a little more about what you can expect when you attend our Fest to get you ready for the big day.

We are an outdoor event

August is an amazing time of year in Seattle, so we are taking full advantage by having our ‘Fest outside! Be sure to wear comfy shoes as we are in a parking lot, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to spend a day in the sun. We will provide water and other refreshments will be available, and all of the tequila tasting booths are tented, so there is some shade.

Tasting

Northwest Tequila Fest is first and foremost a tasting event. Each one of our 130+ bottles of tequila and mezcal are available for you to sample! With the purchase of your General Admission ticket, you will receive 8 tasting tokens, and each token is good for one taste. Tastes will be .5 oz each (1/3 of a shot) and spit buckets are provided for those who are in it for the long haul. Water will be plentiful to keep hydrated, and we encourage folks to take their time and enjoy each delicious drop!

Your tokens are also good for Cocktails and Beer, which will be available throughout the festival. And if you run out of tokens, not a problem! Tokens will be available for sale throughout the Fest.

Food

We are excited to be partnered up with Seattle area restaurants, who have been providing tasty bites every year for us! Food will be available for purchase throughout the festival, along with traditional Mexican juices and sodas.

VIP Events, education, and more!

Be sure to check out our Events page for a complete list of events happening around the Fest itself! We have Exclusive tastings, a Cocktail Competition, and have educational seminars the week before.
